About Us

In April 2007, two technologists Suprotim and Minal, launched DotNetCurry.com to keep track with the latest Microsoft technologies and to share their experiences online. They intended to create not only a developer-designer focused content site, but also one that aims at giving a better understanding of the technology. The motive was also to create a two way communication where readers could give their feedback about the content via Emails and Comments.

Since .NET comprises of a wide variety of technologies, and they planned to cover most of them on this site, they thought the website name should reflect that. Both of them being foodies, came up with the idea of calling it 'Curry' - which denotes a wide variety of dishes with a combination of many spices. Hence the name DotNetCurry!

Six years after it's launch, DotNetCurry.com has become a website that connects over 600K .NET and related Technology professionals every month and continues its efforts to keep them up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies. The site features articles and tips on .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Azure, Web API, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, C#, LINQ, Silverlight, Visual Studio, Expression Web, Sharepoint, VB.NET, Windows Forms, WPF, Windows Phone and many more and delivers content to over 60000+ Newsletter and RSS Subscribers every month.

Many people have contributed to the success of the site. We have a strong panel of experts who contribute towards the content and development of the site, six of them being awarded the very prestigious Microsoft MVP award. Infact Minal & Suprotim along with Gouri and Subodh are amongst the very few 'couples' in the world, who have earned the prestigious Microsoft MVP award. We also have Admins, Editors, Publishers and Online Social Media experts who strive to deliver content frequently to our viewers. Our contributors have been mentioned on this page.

Finally it is the 'U' in 'US' that keeps us going through your feedback and support. So let the feedback pour in and help us improve the content and serve your needs, as we move ahead.
