On April 28th, 2007, Minal and I started this site. This site is three years old now and we are proud of what we have achieved over these three years.  What started as a seemingly modest technology site, has today grown to be a popular .NET website. The reason we have continued to grow is  because DotNetCurry is no longer ‘just us’. We are now a team of professional and dedicated authors, most of us MVP’s, who have one thing in common – Passion. Passion to give it back to the community. Passion to learn, upgrade and share our knowledge on the latest technologies, and that is what DotNetCurry is all about!

DotNetCurry.com is not only a developer-designer focused content site, but also one that aims at giving a better understanding of a technology. Our aim has always been to present concepts and solutions in the simplest possible way and in a step-by-step manner. The site features articles and tips on .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, AJAX, jQuery, LINQ, Silverlight, Visual Studio, Expression Web, C#, VB.NET, Windows Forms, Windows Phone 7 etc. and delivers content to over 270,000+ visitors and 7,700+ Newsletter (as of May 1 2010) and RSS Subscribers every month.

Last but not the least, it is the 'U' in 'US' that keeps us going through your feedback. Your endless support in sharing articles from this site on social channels, is much appreciated.

To celebrate and say ‘Thank You’, we are excited to host for you, this Mega $18,000 worth GiveAway, full of .NET Software, Books and Training and we wish you the best of luck in winning it!

I have followed you on Twitter. My Twitter id :sree_29
My tweet is http://twitter.com/sree_29/status/13182946885

Now I like to enter the contest for Windows 7 Ultimate.
Windows 7 is the best operating system by Microsoft till now.It is not resource hungry like Vista and also has tons of features which could be great help for almost everyone. And security wise it is more robust too.
I have a low mediocre laptop with poor configuration which cant handle Vista. But Microsoft is not going to support XP for very long.I dont want to hang around with XP without support. So I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and thats why I need this license badly.
Hope I win.
Thank you.

I want to participate in ESET Smart Security and Windows 7 Ultimate giveaway.
ESET is great computer security software as it has advanced heuristics and lightweight footprint. This compels me to choose it as my computer protection software against malware and other nasties around the World Wide Web.
Windows 7 is the best OS ever created by Microsoft. I have tested their beta and RC. I simply love it, but cannot afford (student) to buy Windows 7 Ultimate. I will grateful if I have a license for it. Aero snap, aero peek, better search, and super bar are my favorite features of Windows 7. Ultimate edition will let me use encryption for my data safety.
I hope I will have license for both software. I hope I will not miss this great chance to have two great softwares for my computer (both are essential).
Regards.

Hi there,
Congrats on the third birthday of your blog.I wish to participate in the giveaway for Win7 and Eset Smart Security.Win7 is really a fine balance between two seemingly opposite ideologies. It is very secure yet very intuitive. It is very comprehensive yet very light on system resources. As far as Eset Smart Security goes, well it's consistent "Advanced+" performance in "AV Comparatives" speaks volume about it's calibre. So do count me in the giveaway of the aforementioned two terrifc products please...
Thanks
P.S. As stipulated,I am following your blog on twitter and retweeted this post at:  http://twitter.com/d4dhiraj/status/13601434693

Thank you for some excellent writing and well thought out content.  Congratulations and please keep up the very good work - I'll be watching from Sacramento

I have been following you for a while, and am looking forward to the contest results.  In order of preference, I can quite see a few prizes that appeal to me.
1 - The pluralsight subscription.  I have been seeing Julie Lerman's tweets about the videos she has been doing for them, and would love the opportunity to see them first hand.
2 - The ComponentArt UIFramework by ComponentArt looks very exciting.  I have been wanting to try their components for years, but have not been able to afford the licenses personally, or convince my employer it is needed.
3 - Any of the Manning or O'Reilly books would be appreciated also.  It is always hard for me to remember every time I see one of their emails if I have already bought the specific MEAP version, or almost released book they have on sale.

If I win, my twitter handle is @pmillsaps.  Thanks for providing an excellent resource, and helping give away these wonderful products.

Congratulations .. I had also met a couple of ppl at TechEd india at Bangalore and was impressed.
Well I am a budding trainer in .NET, so i would like to have the .NET and Technology EBooks from O'Reilly, Manning and KnowledgeVisuals
and also the .NET Training Subscriptions. I think that would help me a lot especially the .NET Training Subscriptions( and .NET Training Video Tutorials).

I have been using Windows 7 in my office for a couple of days now and the more I use it the more I like it, almost to the point of congratulating microsoft on such a fantastic product. This giveaway looks like an ideal opportunity for me to win it and install at my home so that my entire family can enjoy the experience; that only I have been enjoying so far! Good luck to me and everyone else!

The product that I want is ComponentArt UI Framework. I want that product because it's an awesome component suite. I have checked out their online demos and have been deeply impressed with the component's rich user interface.

I would like to get Windows 7 Ultimate and ESET Smart Security. I have been following you from day 1 of the contest. Windows 7 would do two things for me.
1. Put me out of misery on Windows Vista
2. I would have OS which actually works and can navigate around.

where as I am doing education in Security and ESET Security would be one of great tools to have in my arsenal.
